Why do we love this case?
The wines that turned even the haughtiest of critics into star-struck fanpeople who mysteriously ‘forget to spit it out’ during a high-brow tasting panel. The concept behind this pack is pretty simple; there’s only one condition to entry - a 95 point or higher award. The vast majority need not apply. We already separate the wheat from the chaff here at the ‘fo. This is the artisan stonebaked masterwork that results.
2x Auld Family Wines 'The Ernie' Single Vineyard Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
96 points and a 4.2 Vivino Rating are absolutely nothing to shake a stick at. All the hallmarks of classic Barossa shiraz are right here. Generous, bold and packed full of flavour, we're unbelievably stoked with how this vintage is drinking (already)!
The Barossa Valley is home to quite a few multi-generational wine families. There are legacies as far as the eye can see, stretching across the Barossa plains and rooted as deep as the oldest vineyards. The Aulds are one such family, with the current generation Sam and Jock paying tribute to their lineage who were planting Australian vineyards in the mid 1800's. Each sip tells a story of sun-soaked vineyards, family traditions, and a relentless pursuit of quality. After the first taste of Ernie shiraz you won't be looking back.

2x Lou Miranda Estate Golden Lion Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
A seriously powerful bottle of wine with other-worldly levels of deliciousness. This is one robust shiraz that can be enjoyed now and long into the future, so don't be afraid to hold on to a couple of bottles. In the glass, the colour is a deep crimson red and there’s lifted aromas of plum, pepper, vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate is full and generous with dark fruits, interwoven spice and savoury tannins. With Angela Miranda at the helm of the winemaking, this is one well made wine. There's a good dose of American oak in the ageing regime on this, adding a touch of coconut and further vanilla to the wine. It’s ready to go with a big ole’ steak right now or will happily nap in your cellar for 15 years. This big boy is here for you now and in the future.

2x Pirramimma Heritage Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
If you don’t know by now, we think it’s time for you to loop yourself in. The Pirramimma Limited Edition Shiraz comes from the fruit out of the famous “War Horse” and “Ironstone” blocks. The vines are old and what they lack in quantity (yield), they make up for in superb quality. Full bodied, but balanced with pepper and spice, there are just so many layers to discover in this wine. Laden with luscious, ripe blackberries, earthy blackcurrants, mocha, hints of cedar and a dollop of liquorice, you’re in for a treat with this divine, velvety red.

2x Amicus Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Amicus is Latin for 'friend', "We wouldn’t open a bad bottle of wine to share with our loved ones and we don’t want you to, either.", that's this producer's mantra and pretty much their whole philosophy, and it's no better embodied than in this little number. A bottle made to be shared. Rich and robust with lively acid and plush, textured fruit, the layered tannin structure brings an element of elegance and allows for a surprisingly long drinking window (now to 2036). The already famous 2021 McLaren Vale vintage, much like this wine, is a gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving.

2x Haselgrove Cul Stor Shiraz Cabernets 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Multiple vintages of Haselgrove's Cul Stor shiraz blend have rushed into our warehouse and zoomed straight back out and to your front door faster than you can say ‘shiraz blended with cab sav and a splash of cab franc’. At its core, we have all the plush dark berries, plums and chocolatey goodness that you’d expect from Mclaren Vale. But the blend of cabernets is what lifts this drop way above entry level, firm tannins and a liveliness on the back palate provide wonderful length and serious structure; perfect to pair with your good old fashioned Sunday roast lamb with all the trimmings.
You'd pay $45 full price.

2x Ubertas Single Vineyard Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
This is the kind of Barossa shiraz that sits quietly in the cellar, and then, at a moments notice, completely outperforms expectations. Single-vineyard fruit, smart hands in the winery, and a whole lot of flavour packed into the bottle. Trust us - you're gonna be completely stoked with this one. Pop the top and this beauty brings the goods: juicy blackberries and plum, plenty of energy, and a full-bodied feel that stays smooth and controlled rather than heavy. The finish is tidy, balanced and way more polished than the price would suggest. The critics have clocked it too, handing out 95 and 96 point scores for depth, balance and vibrancy, which is nice - but honestly, you don’t need the numbers to see the joy in this one. It’s fun, flavour-packed and dangerously easy to like. A proper crowd-pleasing shiraz that punches well above its weight and gets the job done every single time.
You'd pay $30 full price.
