Why do we love this wine?

Blackcurrant, red plum and redcurrant on the nose, with cigar box, cedar and dried herb adding a savoury complexity that builds beautifully in the glass. The palate is medium to full-bodied and firmly structured - tightly built tannins that have softened and integrated over time, a dry, satisfying finish and the kind of depth and persistence that only proper bottle age can deliver.
