Why do we love this wine?
As soon as it hits the glass it looks every bit as impressive as it tastes, super dark and inky. The nose delivers plum, blueberry pie and blackberry with baking spices, liquorice, dark chocolate, turned earth and violets. There's incredible depth here - layers of blackberry, blackcurrant and black plum intertwine with cocoa, lifted by a subtle tart edge bringing vibrancy to the dark fruit profile. Plenty of plush fruit flows across the palate, backed by ground-rocky tannins providing toothsome grip and a powerfully formed, lingering finish. The wine shows remarkable balance - smooth, luscious and finely structured. All in all, this is a fantastic wine from one of the Barossa's most celebrated pockets. Seriously impressive gear that shows exactly why Greenock Creek's reputation is so solid.

Wine Orbit
Richly fruited with fabulous complexity, it shows blackberry, sweet cherry, star anise, vanilla, and toasty oak aromas, leading to a gorgeously flavoursome palate filled with delectable fruit flavours. The beautifully melded tannins make it opulent and delicious, with a prolonged, enticing finish. 95 Points. - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit.
