This is Glera (Prosecco grape) grown in the Treviso province - the actual home of Prosecco, where the soil, the climate and the winemaking tradition all exist for one purpose and one purpose only. Getting this right. No surprise it's bloody perfect!

Don't worry, try one of these

Why do we love this wine?

Pale straw in the glass with fine, persistent bubbles, this one means business, and by business, we mean fun. Golden apple and grapefruit on the nose - fresh, fragrant and completely alluring. The palate is clean, lively and harmonious, with just enough sweetness to take the edge off without ever tipping into cloying territory. This is the real thing. Pour it cold, pour it fast, pour it again.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a genuine Prosecco DOCG from the Treviso region, made exclusively from Glera grapes using the traditional Charmat method. Unlike Champagne which undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle, Prosecco develops its bubbles in pressurised tanks, creating a fresher, more fruit-forward profile. The 'Millesimato' designation means it's made from grapes harvested in a single vintage year, ensuring consistent quality and character.

In Prosecco classification, 'Extra Dry' actually contains a touch more sweetness than 'Brut', with 12-17 grams of residual sugar per litre. This slight sweetness perfectly balances the wine's natural acidity and enhances the golden apple and citrus flavours. It's the most popular style of Prosecco because it offers enough sweetness to be approachable while maintaining the crisp, refreshing character that makes Prosecco so versatile.

Serve this Prosecco well-chilled at 6-8°C in tall, narrow flutes to preserve the fine, persistent bubbles and concentrate the aromatic golden apple and grapefruit notes. Open the bottle gently by twisting the bottle rather than the cork to maintain pressure. The wine is best consumed immediately after opening, as Prosecco doesn't benefit from ageing and is designed to showcase fresh, vibrant fruit flavours.

The medium body and balanced sweetness make this Prosecco incredibly food-friendly, particularly with antipasti, seafood, and light pasta dishes. The citrus and pear notes complement oysters, prosciutto, and aged cheeses beautifully. Its crisp acidity cuts through creamy sauces while the subtle sweetness pairs wonderfully with spicy Asian cuisine, making it more versatile than drier sparkling wines.

The 'Dangerous Value' 90-point rating reflects exceptional quality-to-price ratio, while 'Estate Grown' indicates the producer controls the entire winemaking process from vineyard to bottle. Ville D'Arfanta sources grapes from their own vineyards in the prestigious Treviso zone, ensuring consistent quality without the markup of multiple intermediaries. This direct control allows them to deliver authentic Prosecco character at a price point that makes premium Italian sparkling wine accessible.
