Bright aromas of citrus blossom and cool minerality on the nose, followed by white peach and pure citrus on the palate. This riesling is outstanding in its category, year after year after year. No exceptions here.

Why do we love this wine?
The sub-region of Skilly Valley for which this wine is named imparts subtly different nuances to the wines as compared to rieslings from other parts of the famed Clare Valley. In true Clare style, the acidity is electric and leaves you pleasantly refreshed with every sip. But, being Skilly Valley fruit, there's a subtle richness and plumpness to the wine that leaves us absolutely screaming for another glass. We can say that we have personally stocked our cellar with this wine, now to try and hold on to it for a few more years to see it develop and evolve.

The Wine Front
" My word this is a juicy wine. Green mango, lime and lemongrass, a spicy almost peppery top note. It has crunch and grip, lime and sherbet, definitely a sort of Thai salad sort of thing happening, and quite stony texture on a gently grippy finish of very good length. It's maybe a little bit rugged, though I kind of like that. Flavour is not a problem for this wine, despite its very modest alcohol. Very nice. Drink: 2025-2034. 94 Points. - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

Campbell Mattinson
"Exquisitely dry, gently textural, whispered with slate and full of class. This is Clare Valley riesling at its dry, persistent, mouthwatering best. Lime, floral notes, slate and a whisper of strawberry and/or blackcurrant bud. It's a beautiful, dry, crisp riesling, light, lingering and ultimately satisfying. 94 Points." - Campbell Mattinson

Ray Jordan
"The minerally character in the wine comes from the sandy loam soils over broken quartz. It's quite a delicate wine, heavily scented with light florals and appley citrus notes with just a hint of musk stick. The palate is fine, and although delicate, has a tremendous driving intensity with that typical Riesling tension. It finishes long and picks up very subtle stone fruit nuances as it flows through. Drink to: 2025-2035. 94 Points." - Ray Jordan
